Improve Your Eyesight – Smile More & Your Eyesight Will Improve

Now that sounds kind of ridiculous, doesn’t it? Smile more to improve your eyesight, but that’s exactly what is going to happen.

Let’s do a little experiment. Put a serious thinking face on. Pull your eyebrows together, put some tension on your forehead and feel how that affects your eyes.

Can you feel the tension all around your eyes? Can you feel how your eyes start to strain and get tired? You visual field isn’t very wide, is it.

Now, smile. Put a huge grin on your face, a smile from ear to ear, let me see your teeth. Put a really big smile on and enjoy it!

Where is your tension on the forehead? Are your eyebrows still pulled down? And how is your eyestrain? Your visual field has expanded, hasn’t it.

You see, smiling releases hormones, hormones of happiness called endorphins. These endorphins make you feel better and relax the muscles in your body. They tell the whole body that everything is in great working order.

They also relax your eye muscles, reducing eyestrain and tension. If you read any of my other articles you probably know that tension in your eyes is what causes nearsightedness or myopia.

Also, continuous tension in your neck muscles restricts blood and oxygen flow to your eye muscles, which is detrimental as well.

So, if you start to smile more, smile intentionally, then you will improve your eyesight for sure.

To top it off, smiling just makes you feel good, more alive, and that alone promotes healing.

I think this is a great place to quote Dr Deepak Chopra, one of the leading cardiologists in the world. He said in his book Perfect Health,

“You can’t have it only one way and say that negative emotions disturb your immune system. It must also be true that positive states of awareness will help you to get well.” (Perfect Health, pp.148/149)

Most of us don’t consider the healing effects of smiling. To learn more about how can improve your eyesight smiling and a few other techniques, I’d like to invite you to watch some eye opening free video content explaining exactly how you can improve your eyesight.

Improve Your Vision – Reduce Your Stress & You’re Halfway There

How many times in how many different contexts did you hear that you should reduce your stress? Well, when you want to improve your vision naturally, or improve your vision at all, you have to reduce your level of stress.

You see, stress creates muscular tension all throughout the body, and therefore also in your eye muscles. If you eye muscles are too tense then you are prone to develop myopia or nearsightedness, if you haven’t done so already.

What happens when your eye muscles are too tense is that your eye muscles pull your eyeball in a way that extends and flattens out your eyeball. That in turn then changes the shape of your lens and makes it difficult for you to see into the distance.

Now, there are many stressors in life, physical and psychological stress factors. Which ones are more important to focus on when you want to improve your vision?

Quite frankly, you have to focus on both. If I had to pick a more important one, I would suggest to get rid of mental stress first because that often leads to physical stress. But many people are holding tension in many places in the body, and it’s important to get rid of all of them.

Tension leads to inflexibility in the body and when the body is not flexible in the spine and in the joints, this also adds to your eye problems. Tight hips, a tight spine, and constricted shoulder movement interferes with the body’s red blood cell production. If there is limited movement in these areas of the body, the body doesn’t produce the optimum amount of red blood cells.

That then leads to not enough red blood cells being available for the distribution of oxygen and nutrients throughout the body, and therefore to your eyes.

As you can see, there are many factors involved when you want to improve your vision, and stress is just one of them.

Natural Vision Correction – A Healthy Colon Helps To Correct Vision?

Yes, the state of your colon directly affects your natural vision correction, believe it or not.  Have you ever heard of it, probably not because the last thing your optometrist is going to prescribe is a colon cleanse… He’ll give you one pair of prescription glasses after the other, for as long as you live!

So how exactly does your colon affect your natural vision correction?

You see, in holistic medicine all parts of the body are connected and interlinked. No organ operates in isolation from the rest of the body, only Western medicine approaches health in that manner. The difference is that Eastern healing approaches have been around for thousands of years and studied healthy people and why they are healthy, instead of the Western approach of slicing up dead and sick people to find out why they got sick.

Which approach you prefer is up to you, but for natural vision correction I concentrate on the Eastern philosophies because they make more sense to me.

Western medicine has it’s place, but not in natural vision correction because their techniques lead to stronger and stronger prescriptions, so obviously the correction part isn’t working in their techniques.
So, back to the colon; there is a reflexology point deep within the colon that directly affects your eyesight.

Basically, if that one is blocked, your vision gets worse, and most of today’s diet is blocking the colon. If the colon doesn’t get cleansed out then toxin and waste products of the body just keep clocking up that reflexology point.

More importantly though, your eyes are connected to your liver, via the liver meridian. A meridian is an energy pathway that distributes energy to various parts of the body. So, if your liver is too toxic, your eyes don’t receive the energy they are supposed to get, meaning you vision deteriorates.

How does that relate to a healthy colon?

You see, the colon is the dumping ground for the body’s waste. If the colon is full and overloaded your liver has nowhere to put its own toxins. That in turn leads to a double hit for your vision. Your reflexology point is blocked and your liver becomes more and more toxic, blocking the energy that is destined for your eyes, because there is not space to eliminate liver toxins.

So, you see that a healthy colon is essential for natural vision correction. Toxic colon and liver are primary root causes for eye problems when you look at natural vision correction holistically, and don’t just think about eye exercises.

If you don’t detox the two, eye exercises will be a waste of time.

How To Improve Eyesight – Detox Your Liver To Improve Your Eyesight

What could the liver possibly have to do with your eyesight? You want to find out how to improve eyesight, and then you find this article that talks about liver detox?

Let me back up, so you get the bird’s eye view;

In holistic medicine, often referred to as alternative medicine, which is based on Eastern healing wisdom from China and India, identified a long time ago that nothing in the body is isolated.

Neither are your eyes. Your eyes belong to every other part of the body, and to know how to improve eyesight, you need to know how specifically the eyes relate to other parts of the body.

The eyes are connected to the liver via the liver meridian. A meridian is an energy pathway that guides energy throughout the body.

Meridians are used in acupuncture and holistic forms of massages. These treatments remove blockages, so your energy circulates freely throughout your whole body.

So, how does that relate to improving your eyesight?

If you liver is toxic then the energy that is supposed to flow all the way to your eyes, gets blocked in the liver. Meaning that your eyes don’t get the life energy they are supposed to receive.

Without that energy your eyes can’t function properly and your eyesight deteriorates.

So, if you really want to know how to improve eyesight naturally, you need to find a healthy way to cleanse your liver. You have to find a way that doesn’t put a lot of strain on the liver because most liver detoxification strains the liver too much.

That in turn exhausts the energy that is supposed to reach your eyes once again!

This is a delicate system, and to improve your eyesight naturally you need a delicate natural vision correction approach that covers also how to detox you liver gently, safely, but still effectively.

Now, to really understand how to improve eyesight naturally, I’d like to invite you to check out my free video course that explains many concepts in depth.

Improve Eye Vision – Use Your Mind To Improve Your Vision

If you look at eye problems from a conventional ophthalmic point of view, all that is wrong is your eyes, or in many cases your lens. But there is a whole other dimension that this way of thinking doesn’t take into consideration.

The picture we actually see with our eyes in not what the eyes perceive. The picture we see at the end of the day is what the mind makes out of the eyes perception.

Basically there are a whole bunch of perceptual filters between all the information your eyes absorb and what is shown to you as picture.

Also, your brain makes one picture out of two, which are perceived by your two eyes. If only the eyes were responsible for the picture we see, then cross-eyed people could never see a single picture, but they do.

Why is that important?

Well, if you have any eye condition or eye problem and you want to treat it, then you have to realize that your mind plays an important role. You have to understand that there is something in your life that you don’t want to see, so your eyes are filtering it out.

It might be the details of your life, missed opportunities or embarrassments that lead you to black out details, so you need reading/magnifying glasses to regain your eyes for detail.

Or you might not want to or can’t see your future, which leads to problems in your distant vision, leaving you nearsighted and with myopia.

There are many things we don’t want to see in our lives, all the things that come up in thoughts when we are by ourselves and feel regret, resentment, or grief.

If you don’t learn to deal with these issues, your eyesight will get worse and worse until you are “blinded” enough not to see the stuff on a daily basis anymore. If you want to improve your vision naturally, or in any way at all, then you have to look at these things.

Glasses obviously don’t work because every time we get a clear and close look at the stuff with new glasses, we “blind” ourselves just a bit more, so we need stronger prescriptions.

Eye surgery has a similar problem, so that many people get their same eye problems just a few years after a “successful” eye surgery.

To really improve your vision to the point that you enjoy an independent life without glasses, contacts, and regular visits to eye tests, optometrists, and eye doctors, you have to address the underlying issues. You have to find out what it is, deal with it, and let it go. And that is much easier to do than most people think.

Will your optometrist or eye doctor tell you about this?

Most likely not, and why would he or she do so? How much are you worth to their business once you don’t need stronger prescriptions and eye tests anymore? Would they agree if you asked them? Probably not!

But let me ask you a challenging question here; what kind of authority are they really on vision improvement?

Most of them wear glasses or contacts, and did you ever improve your vision with their means up until now? You do get higher prescriptions, not lower ones, don’t you.

But if they improved your vision, why don’t your glasses disappear after a while? Because the root causes are not in the eyes. The root causes for eye problems are in the mind and the whole body. The eyes are just showing the symptom.

Now I’d like to invite you to watch my free video series that’s explaining these concepts further and will be showing how you can improve your vision naturally.

Natural Eyesight Correction – The Secret To Correcting Your Eyesight

I’m often asked what it takes for natural eyesight correction to occur. There are so many eye exercises programs out there, so many promises, yet no optometrist or eye doctor prescribes them…

They claim it all doesn’t work, but there are endless lists of people who used these programs that testify it worked for them.

Who is right?

Well, both, but one thing to keep in mind is that wearing glasses will not improve your vision. Otherwise you would get weaker glasses over time, but you never do.

Eye surgery is also a failure because in essence, in concept, that’s just implanting glasses into your lens. People claim varies techniques do other things, but conceptually they all do the same- treating the symptoms of your eye problems and weakening the eye muscles.

Neither one encourages natural eyesight correction, but is an unnatural intervention.

So, but how comes that optometrists and eye doctors are right?

You see, just exercising your eyes is not enough. You also work only on the symptom.

But there is an underlying root cause for your eye problems. And for natural eyesight correction that lasts, you need to identify the root causes and eliminate them.

Only then treating the symptom is useful because if you don’t, your symptoms will always return.

For successful eyesight correction you need to treat your eyes holistically, meaning you have to address the mind, the body, and the eyes. But the eyes are only last.

So, natural eyesight correction only works, if the vision correction program focuses on more than just eye exercises. You need to focus on the above 3 areas of your holistic health for lasting correction to your eyesight to occur.

Now I’d like to invite you to learn more about these concepts in my free video course that you can access above. Also, feel free to ask questions and comment below.

Eyesight Correction – 7 Secrets To Naturally Correct Your Eyesight

To free yourself from your dependency on glasses with natural eyesight correction, you need to understand that your eye problems are not only in your eyes.

Your eye problems are only a symptom of a few root causes in your body-mind system.

So, for natural eyesight correction, you have to do more than eye exercises, you have to look at the following 7 areas of your life.

1.    Identify what you avoid to see –
Most people don’t know this, but eye problems start in the mind and only manifest in the body. There is something in your life that you don’t or didn’t want to see.

You have to become aware of it. What happened in your life in the 2 years before you got your first pair of glasses that you didn’t want to see?

That’s a great starting point.

2.    Detox your liver –
In holistic medicine your eyes are connected to the liver, and if the liver is too toxic, your eyesight suffers.

So for natural eyesight correction you have to detox your liver, which will clear up your eyesight.

3.    Detox your colon –
For your liver to eliminate toxins it needs a clean colon. The colon is the dumping ground of the body, and if it’s overloaded, your liver has nowhere to put toxins.

So, to clean up your liver, you also have to clean up your colon.

4.    Reduce your stress –
Stress is creating constant tension in your muscles, and therefore also in your eye muscles. If you are constantly under stress, your eye muscles are tense, which causes nearsightedness or myopia.

Check yourself; are your eyebrows pulled forward right now? Is your forehead tense?

If so, you need to learn to relax, or your eyesight correction efforts might be wasted.

5.    Smile more –
Smiling is a great way to relax. Feel into your forehead again. Feel the tension.

Now, smile! Open your mouth and really smile wide from one ear to the other.

Feel the tension dropping? Well, there is a whole string of benefits to smiling, and I’m going into the details in a separate article.

6.    Move your eyes –
How many hours per day are you actually staring? Into the computer screen, into the TV, on magazines and newspapers, and even when we go for a walk we don’t look around!

You have to move your eyes. You have to change the focus regularly to correct your eyesight naturally.

7.    Improve your body’s flexibility –
You might have never heard about it, but your body’s flexibility in your spine and your joints has a great impact on your eyesight.

You have to keep your body flexible otherwise your eyesight will be inflexible, too.

Bonus Tip: Drink more pure, flat water. Your body is 70% made up out of water and there are so many benefits to drinking water, I have to write another article about the relationship of water and eyesight correction.

And now I’d like to invite you to learn more about natural eyesight correction. I have some incredible free video content available for your that explains in detail how lasting natural eyesight correction works.

Test Your 20/20 Vision

Ok, so the point is that I don’t think eye test of optometrists really show your vision strength. I do believe that they are set up in an unnatural environment, in a setting your eyes will never have to deal with anything in real life.

But many of my customers have asked me how they can test their 20/20 vision, so here is a chart and the test:

Measure the length of the blue bar in centimeters. Step back from your screen as many feet as you measured centimeters, ie if it’s 5 cm long, step 5 feet (1.5 m) back. ( 1 foot = 30cm)

Now check which line you can read.

The big “E” on the top is 20/200, he “T” & “B” 20/100.

The 2nd line is 20/50

The 3rd line is 20/40

The 4th line is 20/30

The 5th line is 20/20

The last line is 10/20

20/40 equals about -1 diopter, the limit for driving a car unrestricted (interesting that you don’t need to drive with glasses at -1, don’t you think).

20/200 supposedly equals -5 diopters.

So test your eyes, and see for yourself if your glasses might be too strong.
