Astigmatism Correction Naturally… How Does It Work?

NO MORE GLASSES! You can accomplish astigmatism correction naturally even if you suffer from strong astigmatism. Reading and watching TV with equal clarity will no longer be a problem for you. If you’re like most people you’re saying to yourself, who are they kidding? Well, it’s true; just keep reading to find out how you can use natural astigmatism correction.

2 Types of Astigmatism

Have you ever heard of corneal astigmatism? It’s an irregularly shaped cornea that is responsible for that type of astigmatism. How about lenticular astigmatism? You probably already guessed that is an irregularly shaped lens, also responsible for astigmatism. Astigmatism is the most common type of vision problem that people have and these two are the most common types.

Nearsighted or farsighted people can have astigmatism and not even know it. Infrequent headaches or slightly blurred vision are the only warning signs and they may be ignored. More frequent and severe headaches or an increase in the blurry vision or eyestrain may be symptoms of advanced astigmatism, if you don’t start with astigmatism correction.

Astigmatism Correction in Children

Astigmatism in children can go undiagnosed because children don’t complain about it. They’ve not had anything to compare it to so they don’t know any different. Once they have an eye exam and it is diagnosed, they have it corrected by wearing corrective lenses. After that, they may do better in school and sports.

If you notice your child squinting or cocking their head to the side and seeming to only use one eye, they probably need an eye test. Astigmatism could be the culprit.

There are some astigmatism eye exercises that can be tried to correct astigmatism. One of is the Patch. One of the eyes, the one with the least astigmatism, is covered with a patch. This forces the other eye to work harder trying to see, thus, strengthening it. This also works well on a condition called “lazy eye”.

Natural Astigmatism Correction

The pros of natural healing which includes eye exercises are that a person does not have to go through eye surgery. Allowing the eye to try to repair itself is certainly a preferable option. As you keep doing these exercises, you will notice it becoming a habit and then you will start doing them spontaneously. You will be very excited to notice your vision becoming more acute and clear.

well, it depends on if you want to understand how it all works, but a getting some background information surely doesn’t do harm… up to you!

  2. Astigmatism is not the same as lazy eye, and both can be cured for sure. Especially in a young child! Don't start with glasses, there are alternatives. If you start with glasses for your daughter now, she'll be stuck with them for the rest of her life. It disgusts me how fast eye doctors hand out glasses to kids and get them a recurring customer for life…There are many alternatives! With love,Evgania

Hi, my daughter aged 4 has just been diagnosed to have astigmatism (L- 3.5; R-2.5). The doctor also said she has lazy eyes. My question is astigmatism the same as lazy eyes and can both eyes be lazy?
